Ice Time

For all sessions listed below, skaters must have arranged their own private coach prior to registering for ice time and the coach must be with them on the ice in order to skate.

Coaching fees are arranged directly with your coach and are not included in the ice time fee.

BEGINNER

BEGINNER

This session is for new skaters learning to skate and Hockey Skaters working with a private coach.

All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet until they have passed the equivalent of CanSkate Stage 5. Hockey skaters may skate on this session but no sticks or pucks are allowed. Skaters may wear shin/elbow pads in addition to their helmets; full equipment is not permitted.

PreBRONZE

This session is for figure skaters working to complete the equivalent of CanSkate Stages 5 & 6. All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet until they have passed the equivalent of CanSkate Stage 5.

HOCKEY

OPEN SESSIONS

These sessions are for skaters working on hockey skating skill development. All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet until they have passed the equivalent of CanSkate Stage 5.

Please review the session descriptions as some sessions allow hockey skaters to wear full gear, while others prohibit it. On ALL sessions, skaters may wear shin/elbow pads in addition to their helmets.

STARSKATE

BRONZE

This session is for Figure Skaters only, who are working on all Star 1 and Star 2 assessments. Skaters must have passed CanSkate Stage 6 or be approved by the StarSkate Director.

SILVER

Skaters must have passed both Star 3 Skills AND Star 3 Dance AND Star 1 Freeskate assessments;

GOLD

Skaters must have passed Star 4 Skills OR Star 4 Dance AND Star 3 Freeskate assessments..

ASSESSMENTS

ADULT

This session is for teens and adults who wish to learn to skate. Open to all levels.

All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet until they have passed the equivalent of CanSkate Stage 5.

ADULT STAR
(13+ years)

This session is for adult figure skaters who have passed the equivalent of CanSkate Stage 6.
